we also had lots of fun when we stayed around the house. i loved playing in the backyard with the dogs and the big blow-up pool. no matter where we were, we always had a blast during our trip to albuquerque.

one of the best places we visited was the aquarium. they had all kinds of fish and large displays that made it easy to watch them swim around. it was so fun!

albuquerque visit - the botanic garden

we all traveled to visit gampa and grammie and help them do some remodeling in their bathroom. but while we were there, we had some fun too. one cool place we visited was the botanical gardens. they had a neat children's area with an oversized garden. we then all sat in the open area for a fun picnic.

it's been wonderful to see owen and everett start to interact with each other more and more. owen is starting to realize how fun it is to do things for everett and loves when everett responds to his actions.

more golfing

now that the weather is getting nice, i can practice my golfing in the backyard. daddy even takes my clubs and hits a few balls with me. daddy has been watching more golf lately so i've been trying to imitate the golfers i see on tv. i think daddy needs to get out on the course and get some more practice cause my game is already on track to eclipse his.

my army crawling skills are getting better each day. daddy can barely escape my grasp when he tries taking pics. the minute i see him on the floor with the camera, i kick it into high gear before he can snap the camera. my ability to crawl on the floor has opened up my world. now i can get to what i want, which owen isn't thrilled about when it means his things.

today we celebrated mommy's day by taking our mommy to washington park for a picnic. owen got to play with mommy at the gigantic playground and afterwards we all walked to bonnie brae for some refreshing, delicious ice cream. it was everett's first taste of ice cream and he loved it. it was so nice to have an entire day devoted to mommy to let her know how much she means to both of us. we love you mommy!
