monster trucks

we went to see monster trucks up close over the weekend at the extreme monster truck winter nationals. even better, kristi and josh came along, too. it was so cool to see all the trucks, racing vehicles and cool motorcycle tricks. thanks to josh for the headphones, we definitely needed them. there was even a monster truck from albuquerque at the event! we all had an awesome time.

for halloween, mommy made us viking costumes like from owen's favorite movie, how to train your dragon. in case you were wondering, we were both hiccup, the star of the movie.

mommy made the vests, boot cuffs, and belts and daddy made
the shields and swords...cardboard and duct tape sure go a long way!

we went to texas last week to visit umma and uppa and we had a blast fishing, playing on the beach, finding seashells and eating at some fun local places.

thanks to josh and kristi for coming over and taking such amazing pictures for us as we surprised the boys with the big news. mommy had surprised daddy during a special date night on friday...and he was really excited!
