christmas 2016 in albuquerque

we went to albuquerque for christmas this year to spend time with grammie, gampa and greats. we were there for a week so we got to do a lot of fun things like having the kiddos bake cookies with grammie, playing games with gampa and spending quality time with greats. it's always enjoyable when we get to spend the holidays with family.

daddy started up a fire and we all got to grill hot dogs and smores. it was a cold night so the fire kept us warm as we enjoyed our yummy food.

sometimes i'm the one that get's forced into these boyish imaginary escapes. leave it to evie to turn a laundry basket into a rocket and make me be the passenger. with evie in the driver seat, who knows where we're going. i will remember these things when it comes time for me to host a tea party. my time is coming soon and everything my brothers have made me do will be paid back in full.

denver parade of lights 2016

we all went downtown to the denver parade of lights as a fun family event for the christmas season. we rode on a train to get downtown, where we enjoyed a fun dinner and an amazing parade of lights. we finished the night off with a trip to mommy's favorite place, starbucks.

i got to go with daddy to the local library to learn about how technology and legos can go together. it was so cool to build things, program them to move and then watch them do what i wanted them to do.

i've recently enjoyed dancing around the house. whenever my favorite songs come on, i'm dancing up a storm.

in case you were wondering what owen was doing behind me, he was trying to camouflage himself by wearing clothes that matched our door and wall. sigh, nothing like an older sibling trying to steal the spotlight from me.

our trip to anderson farms

we went to anderson farms fall fest this year to enjoy their corn maze and pumpkin patch. we did lots of fun activities like car racing, barrel rides, playground fun, corn maze treasure hunt, and of course, a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out a few pumpkins. we had so much fun there and the weather was great! an awesome way to kick off the fall season. we're definitely going back again next year.
