our visit to texas

last weekend, we all flew to texas to visit uppa in the hospital. it was eloise's first airplane ride, and my second! we were so happy that one of the nurses actually allowed all of us to go into his room to see him, which brought a huge smile to his face! it was so much fun to hang out with umma and lift her spirits up after all they've been going through. we each kissed a stuffed animal and gave it to uppa to let him know we are always praying for him and hoping he gets better.

valentine's dinner

it was such a fun valentine's day as a family! mommy and daddy caught an early bright pink sunrise. then daddy made us a yummy pancake breakfast with strawberry milk. for dinner we all enjoyed a rich fondue dinner finished off with homemade chocolate mousse for dessert. it was a perfect day spent celebrating our family's love!

i went out with mommy and daddy on a date all by myself. it was parent's night out at our church, so my brothers enjoyed their own fun time with friends and a movie, while i went to dinner with mommy and daddy. it was nice to be the center of attention for an evening.

a couple weeks ago, we went to the new indoor kids pool at the local recreation center. owen went on the big slide all by himself...several times. everett is looking forward to going on it once he get's a bit older.

driveway ninja warriors

we have been obsessed with obstacle courses after watching episodes of american ninja warrior. from climbing up door frames, jumping off beds and doing somersaults, we've tried every possible way to incorporate obstacles into our daily routine. we also love making driveway obstacle courses with what we can find in our garage.

i've been showing signs of wanting to crawl but haven't really found anything interesting enough to crawl for...until recently. last month i found a credit card (mommy and daddy tell me it was a pretend one) and my inner-spender kicked in and i went for it. now i just need to learn to walk so i can actually go and spend mommy and daddy's money.
