happy 2 year birthday eloise!

i celebrated my 2nd birthday in style today. mommy and daddy decorated my door with lots of streamers and my brothers greeted me with lots of smiles and fun. downstairs were lots of balloons, fun plates, more streamers. mommy made me yummy birthday pancakes, complete with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. we spent the morning at the zoo looking at all my favorite animals and finished the day by stopping for birthday cupcakes at buttercream bakeshop where we each picked out our own yummy cupcakes!

we all enjoyed a wonderful easter with an early church service and then a pot luck and easter egg hunt with lots of families from our church. of course the kiddos also got sweet treats that were put into each of the eggs.

christmas 2016 in albuquerque

we went to albuquerque for christmas this year to spend time with grammie, gampa and greats. we were there for a week so we got to do a lot of fun things like having the kiddos bake cookies with grammie, playing games with gampa and spending quality time with greats. it's always enjoyable when we get to spend the holidays with family.

daddy started up a fire and we all got to grill hot dogs and smores. it was a cold night so the fire kept us warm as we enjoyed our yummy food.

sometimes i'm the one that get's forced into these boyish imaginary escapes. leave it to evie to turn a laundry basket into a rocket and make me be the passenger. with evie in the driver seat, who knows where we're going. i will remember these things when it comes time for me to host a tea party. my time is coming soon and everything my brothers have made me do will be paid back in full.

denver parade of lights 2016

we all went downtown to the denver parade of lights as a fun family event for the christmas season. we rode on a train to get downtown, where we enjoyed a fun dinner and an amazing parade of lights. we finished the night off with a trip to mommy's favorite place, starbucks.
