i have gone to the
albuquerque international balloon fiesta every year since i was born. this was everett's first time there. after a cancellation on saturday, the event finally took off on sunday. so we were up and out of the house by 5:30am and arrived in time for the mass ascension. it's so cool to see hundreds of balloons in the air at the same time.

hey the elephant is the one that landed just next to David and Barbara's house Thursday, David and I helped them pack up! nice fellows from Brazil
